6. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
- Graduation passed not earlier than 01.01.2023 and not later than 01.09.2026 (both days inclusive).
- Test of local language: Not required for candidates with 10th or 12th mark sheet/certificate showing the opted local language; others will be tested during Document Verification.
- Engagement subject to being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank.
- Candidates with prior apprenticeship training, or job experience of one or more years after qualification, are not eligible.

- Merit list prepared State-wise in descending order of marks/percentage obtained in 12th Std (HSC/10+2)/ Diploma Examination; ties resolved by age in descending order.
- Minimum qualifying marks: 60% (55% for SC / ST / PwBD candidates) in 12th Std (HSC/10+2)/ Diploma Examination. Fractions are ignored (59.99% treated as less than 60%).
- Where CGPA / OGPA is awarded, it must be converted into percentage with a certificate from the appropriate authority.
- Any discrepancy found at Document Verification will lead to summary disqualification.
10. HOW TO APPLY
- Register on the apprenticeship portal https://nats.education.gov.in and complete 100% of the profile; keep the enrollment number.
- Apply online from 01.10.2026 to 17.10.2026 via www.canarabank.bank.in → Careers → Recruitment → Engagement of Graduate Apprentices in Canara Bank under Apprentices Act, 1961 for FY 2026-27.
- Click “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” and note the Provisional Registration Number and Password.
- Mention the NATS enrollment ID while applying for training seats.
- Upload photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm), signature, left thumb impression and hand written declaration as per specifications.
- Pay the fee online and take a printout of the e-receipt and online application form.
- Candidates can opt for training seats in only ONE STATE.

12. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
- A candidate should submit only one application; in case of multiple applications only the latest valid completed application will be retained.
- Signature / Hand written declaration in CAPITAL LETTERS shall NOT be accepted.
- Bank reserves the right to allot training seat in any district of the selected State as per administrative requirement.
- The number of training seats is provisional and may vary according to the actual requirement of the Bank.
- Candidates will not be offered regular employment by the Bank during or after apprenticeship training.
- No Ex-servicemen / Disabled Ex-Servicemen shall be engaged as an apprentice.
- A Wait list (State-category wise) will be maintained for one year from the date of result.
- Any dispute is subject to the sole jurisdiction of the Courts in Bengaluru only.
